As a Criminal Lawyer, Ajay Juneja has defended against some of the largest and most complex prosecutions in Alberta history. He has a wealth of experience in defending extremely complex fraud and economic crimes, including the largest credit card fraud and forgery prosecution in Alberta History. Ajay also has a significant amount of experience in drug defence work having defended cases involving wiretaps, undercover agents, participants in the witness protection program, and significant quantities of drugs. He has defended over two dozen individuals charged with murder or manslaughter. He was counsel at trial in a case that led to the largest transcript ever to be produced in Alberta. In addition to the foregoing, he has successfully defended hundreds of impaired drivers, and individuals charged with violent crimes.
While Ajay Juneja’s current practice is limited to Personal Injury and Criminal Law, his past experience has included significant accomplishments in a number of different areas of law. Including representing large corporate entities in commercial transactions and civil disputes. He has been general counsel to a variety of small and medium-sized businesses in a variety of different industries. He has conducted thousands of real estate transactions including multi-million-dollar commercial developments, condominium conversations, and subdivisions.
In addition to being a practicing lawyer, Ajay is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has also previously obtained the designation of a Trade-Mark Agent and is currently working towards obtaining his Chartered Professional Accountants designation.
Ajay Juneja is also an active volunteer for S.A.F.E (Safe Animals From Euthanization), he is on the Communication Committee of the Centre for Human Rights and Justice Coalition, and the Policing Committee of The Criminal Trial Lawyers Association
