Student-at-Law
Sine J. Chadi was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Before pursuing law, he played high-level minor hockey in Edmonton and moved up the ranks and played Junior A hockey, most notably in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Sine has had the pleasure (and pain) of playing with and against other talented hockey players, with some playing in the NHL and in other pro hockey leagues today. After aging out in Junior hockey, he had the chance to play Division 1 Ice Hockey at the University of Arkansas. Although that experience was short-lived, as injuries had played a part in Sine’s early retirement, he decided to travel abroad to study law and received his Bachelor of Laws in 2021. He was certified by the Federation of Law Societies’ National Committee on Accreditation to practice law in Canada in 2022.
Sine’s focus is Criminal Law. He has experience working on criminal DUI’s, assault, and weapons charges and has worked alongside his father and mentor, Jake Chadi, on high-profile drug Trafficking and firearms files.
In addition to Sine’s criminal law experience, he also has experience in Personal Injury Litigation arising from injuries related to motor vehicle accidents and issues under the Family Law umbrella.
When Sine isn’t in the office, you can find him in a hockey arena. Either he is playing the game, watching his talented younger brother’s play, or cheering on the Oilers at Rogers Place. Aside from hockey, Sine enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and watching whatever is on TV with his cats, Millie and Jeff.
