Born and raised in Edmonton, David Ibrahim graduated from Ross Sheppard High School in 2005. He then earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a major in Criminology, in 2011. During the course of his undergraduate degree, David excelled in his studies and was the recipient of several scholarships.
David then went on to law school, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2013, and graduated with Distinction. Having always been interested in the criminal justice system, David focused his efforts and paid particular attention to criminal law and trial advocacy while in law school.
In 2013, David joined Chadi & Company. Exclusively practicing in the area of criminal defence, he has since represented clients charged with a wide variety of criminal offences. He has successfully represented clients all across of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Over the years, David has successfully advanced numerous defences for his clients, including most notably, Charter violations, possession, entrapment, self-defence, identity, alibi, necessity, “he said, she said,” consent, and casting a reasonable doubt on the reliability and credibility of key Crown witnesses.
