Raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Siraj Rayes graduated from Jasper Place High School. He then earned his Bachelor of Commerce Degree, with a major in International Business in 2011. During the course of his undergraduate degree, Siraj was involved in multiple successful entrepreneurial ventures.
Siraj then moved to Gold Coast, Australia, during this time he went to law school and graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2014 from Bond University. He took a very keen interest in criminal law. Siraj completed the Ryerson University Law Practice Program in Toronto, Ontario in 2017 as a Student-at-Law.
He worked in a very busy criminal law office in Toronto, Ontario where he received extensive training from members of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association (CLA). Siraj then was called to the bar in Ontario and became a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 2018. He is well acquainted with the criminal justice system in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2019, Siraj joined Chadi & Company as an associate lawyer. During that same year, he was called to the bar in Alberta and became a member of the Law Society of Alberta. He has been guided and trained by the best criminal defence lawyers in Edmonton.
