Student-at-Law
Nancy was born and raised in Edmonton, graduating from Archbishop O’Leary High School in 2019. She then completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Business Law, from MacEwan University in 2023. Upon graduating, Nancy then went on to pursue her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta, obtaining her law degree in 2026.
Throughout law school, Nancy was actively involved with Student Legal Services (SLS) of Edmonton. This role allowed her to develop her advocacy skills while providing legal assistance to Edmonton’s low-income community. As a Criminal Project Day Leader, Nancy worked to secure the best possible outcomes for many individuals by negotiating with Crown Prosecutors, filing applications, and representing individuals in the Alberta Court of Justice. In her third year, she continued with SLS as a volunteer caseworker in the Emergency Protection Order program. Earlier in law school, Nancy also served as a representative for the Law Students for Human Rights, helping organize workshops and events focused on human rights issues. Her studies focused on family law and public law advocacy, and she looks forward to carrying that focus into practice.
Outside the office, Nancy takes full advantage of Edmonton winters on the ski hills and the skating rink and finds her creative outlet cooking recipes and flavours from around the world.
