Born and raised in Edmonton, Anthony graduated from Archbishop O’Leary High School. He then attended the University of Alberta earning his Bachelor of Commerce Degree, graduating with distinction, in 2003, before obtaining his law degree from the faculty of law.
Having always been interested in the criminal justice system, he humbly accepted an offer to an article at Chadi and Company, where he has since, spent his entire legal career. As a student lawyer, he was exposed to and worked on several high-profile criminal cases surrounding drug trafficking, conspiracy, wiretap cases, sexual assault and high-value fraud cases. All of which, provided him with invaluable knowledge and experience, only strengthening his passion for criminal defence work.
Since being called to the bar in 2008, Anthony has successfully defended clients in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, charged with a wide variety of criminal offences including, but not limited to, drug offences, driving offences (including impaired driving and dangerous driving), violent offences, firearms, sexual offences and many other types of charges.
