Ben Wiebe is a proud Edmontonian who was born and raised in our fair city. He completed both his undergraduate degree and a Law degree at the University of Alberta and attended M.E. LaZerte high school. Mr. Wiebe has been a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association since 2006.
Ben graduated from the faculty of law in 2006 and joined Chadi & Company shortly thereafter as an articling student. He was called to the Bar in 2007. Ben has now been with Chadi and company for 15 years. In that time, he has focused his legal career exclusively on Personal Injury Litigation. Mr. Wiebe has handled several thousand personal injury cases and runs a significant portion of the personal injury files within our office.
Ben has excelled and mastered the art of successful resolution of Motor Vehicle Accidents, Slip and Fall incidents and Fatality Claims. He brings resolution to his client’s claims through the most efficient and dedicated means possible, be that through negotiation, mediation, litigation, or other available tactics.
Ben listens to and cares about his clients. He takes great pride in the fact that over 80% of his new clients are direct referrals from past clients. There is nothing more valuable than a client that is confident and satisfied enough to refer their friends and family to him when they are in a time of need.
He is proud of the results he obtains for his clients and appreciates each and every google review he receives.
Ben understands the stress and trauma that accidents cause and endeavours to reduce the stress of legal proceedings as much as possible. Ben has a great number of treatment providers that he refers his client to in order to ensure that they recover from their injuries. He had his own serious car accident in 2012, which he credits for making him a better and more understanding Injury lawyer. He has seen the process both as a lawyer and as an injured party.
Ben has appeared before all levels of the Courts in Alberta and has resolved numerous injury cases in British Columbia.
As an avid pet lover, with two large dogs, Ben strongly supports the shelters around the Edmonton community by not only donating resources but his time as well.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending his time playing hockey, you can find him at the rink 3-4 times a week pretending he isn’t an over-the-hill beer-leaguer. Ben is also an Oilers season ticket holder and rarely misses a game.
